Hi, I’m Dr. Heather K. Beasley, the Founder, and CEO of The Motherhood Experiment, LL.C.

I have a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences with an emphasis in biochemistry and cancer biology. My research investigates calcium signaling in breast cancer and the dysregulation of bone metabolism due to comorbidities such as hypercalcemia.

I obtained a bachelor of science, in Animal Sciences, from Auburn University and a Master of Science, in Physiology, from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, after which I obtained a brief fellowship in Evolutionary Medicine at UCLA before starting my Ph.D.

During my second year of my Ph.D., my husband and I conceived our amazing little girl. I have worked diligently to be strategic in planning my experiments and planning baby girl’s lunches.

Unfortunately, when the pandemic hit, I realized the lack of information that exists for parents concerning their health and the health of their babies. Not only was there a lack of information, but there was so much misinformation that still circulates in many communities. That is when my newest baby, The Motherhood Experiment, was born!

The Motherhood Experiment, LLC is an educational website  that provides unbiased, thoroughly tested ideas and product information to parents. As a mom and scientist, I am taking the “experiment” out of parenting for all of the moms and dads!
